What a Time

What a time to be sick. I have had a fever for the last 3 days (that I know of) and haven't been feeling well ever since Tuesday. I've missed 2 days of work this week, which I never like to do. If you know me, I always go to work and school even if I'm not feeling well. It's very rare that I'll stay home. Friday I missed going to my elementary school and work. I thought I was feeling better and my fever was down, so I went to see "Little Shop of Horrors" last night but afterwards I still felt horrible.

Today I was supposed to go to UNT for information and everything, but I was still running an over 100 degree fever. So of course, I didn't go to that. I stayed in bed today until 6:30 pm. My nose, throat, eyes, etc are killing me. I think my temperature went down from 100.5 to 99.8. Thats the best it's been in a while.

I'm supposed to go to two baby showers tomorrow. Who knows if that's even going to happen. If some miracle happens, then I'll be able to go, but if things go how they have been lately, then I'll be stuck at home again tomorrow.

I have too much to do this weekend to be laying down sick the whole time. I have homework and previous plans and it seems everything is going to be cancelled. Atleast I'm not throwing up like I was a month ago.

I'm home by myself...of course. Nobody is here to take care of me. It's pretty lonely. I'm going to start reading "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler. For extra credit in history we are supposed to read this and respond. I don't know if I can finish it and write everything in time, but I still think it is an interesting book to read. I'll update what I think of it as soon as I've read it.
