Year in Pictures

January - the month started off with spending lots of time with my boy Joseph and the family. He was born December 28 and I can't believe he is almost one year old! Later on that month I went to the ladies retreat with RE. Kim, Lori, Lacey and I had facials before we played some games with the rest of the ladies. We could barely smile because our faces were so stiff!

February - The kids in my 2nd grade classroom that I observed put on their little play in front of the class. This was my favorite picture because everyone was so enthusiastic. I introduced Trevor to my favorite place to play as a child, Breckenridge Park. Even though it's not the same as it used to be, it was still fun and he really loved it!

March - This is one of my favorite pictures of me and my brothers taken in March. I believe it after an Unveiled show, seeing as how I am wearing one of their shirts. At the beginning of the month I flew to PA (all by myself for the first time) and visited my friend Marti. This was the first time we met in person. It was fun to get a glimpse into what she's really like. Ha! And, I gave her a University of North Texas shirt, because well, I wanted to.

April - Rebecca and I went to a Rough Riders game with her company. Nothing beats free baseball, and I think they won! Kianna, Trevor, Little T, Joseph and I went to their first Rangers game. Hopefully there will be many more of these in the future. Trevor just loved it...especially the cotton candy.

May - After church and lunch one afternoon we decided to crash the party at a park in Plano. Actually, we didn't know it was going on until we got there, but we joined in anyways. I ran into a friend of mine there, which was totally random. This month Matthew graduated high school and was preparing to leave for Guatemala. He held a benefit concert featuring Unveiled and a little bit of other great music.

June - another Unveiled concert at Theater 7. This one was fun! Here is me and Beca enjoying the show. Sorry, Beca, you probably don't like this picture either. We also kicked off Wednesdays in the park with a little carnival fun at my church, where "the other mommy" (AKA Beca) ate Trevor's cotton candy.

July - Fourth of July we went out to one of my uncles friends house and shot off a lot of fireworks. I mean A LOT! I almost got burned by the sparkler as Lige was flinging his around in circles. It was also my birthday month!! We celebrated my birthday, sadly without Matthew. He was still in Guatemala. Beca brought over a piƱata and we had some fun with the decorations from it. After Matthew got back, we celebrated my grandad's 80th birthday and had cakes for me and my cousin Gary too.

August - This was my last outing with the Cheslers before I moved to Denton. In the middle of the month I moved to Denton to my new apartment. Here is a picture of the living room. We have a few more decorations up now than we did then.

September - I went back home just for the Chili Cook off at RE. Sam, Kianna and the boys came and Trevor loved looking at the fire truck, but not getting on it! This was the month that I started doing movies with Tucker and Tyler at their house.

October - Of course this was the month of Halloween. The first picture is with Elisha after the first Inferno showing that I saw. I was participating in House of Judgement at the church in Denton. On Halloween, we didn't have a show so I went to see the Inferno again at Zion Church, where I first started doing HOJ. I was dressed up as Raggedy Anne and Tiffany was a Starbucks drink. I had to have a sip while at Cafe Brazil.

November - The Cheslers came over for an early Thanksgiving dinner at my apartment. Kianna and I cooked all afternoon while Trevor lounged on the couch with the boys. That sweet potato pie and apple pie was to die for! On Thanksgiving day, my cousin Libby and I had fun taking a few pictures. It's kind of a tradition. Earlier in the month I celebrated Lige's birthday via Skype. See my post in November for the little video about it.

December - I had a Christmas party at my house last weekend with a few close friends. See previous post. Goofy was our barista and made some yummy expressos for us. This month, my nails were the longest they have been in a long time, or ever. Believe me, this is impressive for me. I eventually cut them because they were bothering me. Last week I saw Selah sing at the church in Denton. It was wonderful.

I will post pictures from Christmas once it rolls around.

Loved the year in pictures :) I could do that on my blog if I actually ever took any pictures. I am so envious of your fingernails! I have done anything anyone has ever suggested and I still just have these ugly stubs. They crack and peel all the time! Have a great Christmas!

I am flattered Lynn, but my nails are so weak. They are back to their regular stubs.
