The Joys of My Life

It seems that every Friday night I end up coming home and sit around doing nothing. Once again, that was the case. I ended up doing a little bit of homework (extra credit) and became bored out of my mind.

Today I am doing the same thing...homework and extra credit. You would think I would do all of this stuff during the week so I can have a free weekend, but alas, I've done it again. I've left everything to the weekend so I can have a boring Saturday. I'm hoping to finish in the next hour or so. I would like to actually do something today! I'm glad that the rain is out of the forecast because I do not enjoy rain.

Yesterday it was awful driving in the rain. I did my observations in Frisco and then headed to Plano for my doctor appointment. She told me she was going to give me another 6 months to get better. If I'm not better by then, I will have to go on some type of medication. I wanted to go on medication, but then she said that I would have to be on it forever. I don't want to be on it forever. I just recently went off my "happy pills" because I didn't want to be dependent on them for the rest of my life. I've been doing well. Actually, I've been doing amazing. I think this is the first time in a while that I haven't been just down in the dumps on a frequent basis.

I'm adjusting to life in Denton. Well, I've been adjusted but it really feels like home now. It's strange being back in Garland even though I come back nearly every weekend. (I miss my little buddies too much for that!...okay, my family too I guess :D ) I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to be doing this summer though. I won't have a job, but I still have to pay rent and I'll be in Denton taking classes. What a joy! At least that will help me accelerate my degree. So next step...find a job.

But for now...back to my homework.
