I was getting ready this morning and realized there are things I always do when I get ready in the morning or when I'm getting ready for bed. Thought I would share some random facts.
- I always get in on the side of the shower opposite the shower head.
- I never get in the shower until the water is running at a perfect temperature.
- If I am running late, I have to wash my hair and will skip the body.
- I shave my armpits every day.
- I can get ready (shower, dry hair, clothes and makeup) in 20 minutes if I needed to. (I've had lots of practice when I was in athletics in high school)
- I have to use a light moisturizer on my face after I take a shower. If I'm out, I'll use a little dab of lotion.
- I don't put my shirt on until I am done doing everything else.
- I have to brush my teeth before taking a shower and it's the first thing I do when I get up in the morning.
- I alternate my shampoo regularly. Currently I have 2 types of shampoo.
- My hair is naturally straight, but sometimes I straighten it to make it lay better.
This is what my room currently looks like. The curtains are actually usually pulled to the side but I couldn't make it look good enough for the picture so I closed them. Oh, and I made my bed just for you. There are a few pictures and shelf over to the left that will eventually be hanging over my bed. I just haven't gotten around to doing that yet. The curtain in the 2nd picture looks kinda odd, oh well.
Yea, and that's my bathroom. So pretty right? Ha. Anyways I didn't have a pic of my shower curtain but you can sorta see it in the reflection in the mirror.
In the evening:
- I usually don't put my pajamas on until I'm about to start getting ready for bed.
- I have to brush my teeth and wash my face (if I was wearing makeup) before going to bed or it doesn't feel right. Rarely do I go to bed without doing that. Moisturize again.
- I wear my retainers every night have have been since I got my braces off (September 2005) and I can't usually go to sleep without them.
- I will stay up extra late just because I am too lazy to get ready for bed. My brother, Matthew, is the same way.
- I sleep on whatever side of the bed I have my phone plugged in. Right now, that is the left side of the bed. I used to have a twin size bed until I moved into my apartment so it didn't matter. I like to sleep closest to the door but I don't have a table on that side for my phone.
- I usually put chap stick on before going to sleep, generally after I brush my teeth and wash my face.
- I can't sleep with a pillow that is too firm. I usually only sleep on the corner or the very bottom of it.
- It usually takes me a long time to fall asleep. If I am thinking about something that I forgot to do, I will usually get up and do it or I will think about it all night.
- The ceiling fan has to be on when I go to bed and my door must be shut.
- I rarely drink anything before I go to bed because it increases the chances of me getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Most nights I get up between 2-4 am. I usually have to go again when I wake up in the morning. On average, I go between 12-16 times a day, on a regular day. I need to get that looked at.
