I had my urodynamics yesterday morning. It sucked having to not use the restroom for 2 hours after I woke up, but I wanted to make sure I went in with a full bladder. Then I had to pee in an awkward position on this awkward chair into this funnel and thing that recorded my patterns. After that I got catheters, electrodes and tubes. Not looking forward to having a regular sized catheter. This one was for 3 month olds and it still didn't feel good! Then they filled my bladder with water asking me how I feel until I got to the point where I really just couldn't stand it anymore. Then I got to let all that out (which was quite difficult for some reason...maybe because I had catheters in me and I had to go around them!) Yea, okay, so I really had to strain. Finally got to get dresseed, took a pill and left. I had breakfast with Kianna and then realized I left my Linguistics book at the hospital. I had to go back and get it, then drive back to Denton. I ended up being 30 min late to class...geez. The next half of the day it was painful to go. I hope I never have to do this again, although there are likely worse things in life. I have an appointment next Friday with the urologist and hopefully will have some answers then.
