I tried to give blood again today on the Carter BloodCare bus on campus. Notice the word tried. That's becoming a common word around here these days. My iron levels were great this time at 13.0. Everything else was in line until it came to the part where they took my blood. First they poked my right arm because that's the arm I usually give from. No luck. She tried for about 10-15 minutes moving the needle around to try to find the vein to draw blood. Nothing. She tried the left arm. Same thing, but this time even another lady came over and tried too. No luck. So there I was with 2 bandaged arms and 1 pricked finger. I'm getting further in life now...but I'd rather have actually given blood. She told me I was probably the most difficult she's ever had drawing blood. She even asked me if I was human...where I replied, "Apparently I'm not".

Maybe you aren't meant to give blood? haha, totally kidding. that sucks though... :(
You know, I think maybe you should start a new trend and wear that blue bandaging stuff all the time. That would be way cool!
