I forget sometimes how much I enjoy being outside; even if it's nearly 100 degrees. When I played softball in the summers I never minded the heat. My face would get beat red, but I never really was as uncomfortable as I looked. Speaking of softball, I would really like to play again. Anybody know of anyone that has a team or just want to throw and hit the ball around sometime?
I went for a walk at Breckenridge park today with a friend. We walked along the trails, looked at ducks and the water falls and talked for a good long while. Our last stop was to sit down on the rocks by the creek. I think we sat/layed there for a good half hour or longer before we decided we were hungry and needed some lunch.
It is just so relaxing to be outside. I wish I would get myself out there more often, not to mention I could use a good tan. Summer has always been my favorite time of the year, not only because I get a break from school and it's my birthday time, but I actually really like to be in the sun. I also like to sweat. I know that sounds odd, but it's true. Anyways, it was a relaxing and good morning and I hope to do it again sometime soon.
The roommate thing is still on an "I don't know" basis. I am in the middle of talking some people and trying to find a place. When the right place comes up I suppose I'll know it. A lot of the places we looked at might have openings, which a little disappointing that it's not for sure. I've been feeling a little bit better about it all though and I've been in better spirits, which is good for me. I had a fun weekend and should let myself have fun more often because I get in a better mood.
